Step 2: Find volunteer work that you likeOn the homepage you'll find a bar where you can enter your zip code or city. After you entered this you can choose how far from your own zip code you want to travel to do the volunteer work (2km / 5km/ 10km etc.). On the right you will find the two choices: 'Ik wil helpen' which means I want to help, or 'Ik zoek hulp' which means I am looking for help. Make sure that the box 'Ik wil helpen' is filled with the colour green when you are looking for volunteering vacancies. Click on 'Zoeken' which means search.
You will now see a list of questions / vacancies. If you are looking for a particular kind of voluntary work you can click on the categories on the left to specify the vacancies.
Step 3: Get in touchHave you found something that suits you? Make contact by sending a message (green button 'Stuur een bericht'). In order to write a reaction you must register yourself .After the first contact back and forth, it is good to make an introductory appointment, We wrote down some tips for you for making contact.
Step 4: Yes, you found your match!Yay, you found a match! This can be for a one-day job or a long-term contact like a buddy.
